Justice Tsoho, the presiding judge over Nnamdi Kanu’s bail hearing today declined the IPOB’s leader the opportunity to gain freedom.
Nnamdi Kanu is being charged by the FG on allegations bordering on treason and Justice Tsoho stated that with Nnamdi kanu having two passports, it was easy for him to escape trial when discharged from prison.
The judge also noted that Nnamdi Kanu might as well carry on with the whole Biafra movement as he seems unrepentant of his actions yet. With these tangible reasons, his bail application was denied.
Nnamdi Kanu had earlier substituted his lawyer before the court proceedings began. The IPOB leader had been in the confines of the DSS and now in jail since the 14th of October 2015.
